  7. 7. Mission: Meditation

We all prayed and prayed for a yearlong weekend, but now that we’ve got it we have no idea what to do. So here are some ideas of how to fill your time and stay happy until we can get back to our normal lives….

1. Work it out!

Make sure to incorporate some form of exercise into your routine, it can be anything from going for a run, to doing some yoga! Working out releases endorphins, making you happy and healthy. The best part is you can even rope someone else in and have a fun workout session with your partner, friend or family member!

2. A clean home means a clean mind

Keep your space clean and neat, use this time to get rid of any junk you have lying around. By decluttering your surroundings you will also subconsciously de-clutter your mind, ensuring that you have a clear mind and can be productive and focused.

3. TV Time!

Ensure your netflix subscription is up to date, and indulge in a little binge watching. Everyone needs an escape from reality at times, especially when reality is 2020. So snuggle up and catch up on shows you might have missed.

4. FaceTime is your friend!

Even though you may not physically be able to meet people, you can still socialise with them! Video calls are so much more important than people realise because they keep us connected to the people we care about and restore a sense of normalcy. So charge up your phone and chat with your loved ones, it will always make you feel better.

5. Homely Hobbies

Pick up a hobby you’ve never tried before, it’s always fun and challenging to learn something new, and a fun way to kill time. Choose something to do with someone as a way of both bonding and occupying yourself!

6. Build a Restaurant

It’s important to still come up with reasons to dress up. After all when we look good we feel good. Try to do theme nights for dinner where you and your partner, friends or family dress up, eat different cuisines and play music to suit the mood. If you can’t go to the restaurant, bring the restaurant to you!

7. Mission: Meditation

Take 5 minutes everyday to think of something you’re grateful for. In times like these it is important to reflect on our lives and be grateful for all that we have. Taking these 5 minutes will help you refocus your energy and re-centre yourself.

Z!Homes provides you with the opportunity to do all of these things! With regular housekeeping and 24/7 care both your space and your mind will be clear, high speed internet and DTH will take care of your Netflix needs.
