Worst movies ever in 2023

– Get Ready for Letdowns!

Set Pieces, Disappointment, lights, camera! Bollywood had a terrible year in 2023 with dull films, despite the fact that the year started off strong with the success of the blockbuster Pathaan. Get ready as we go into the depths of terrible film selections.

Several Indian individuals and films have received or been nominated for the Oscar-winning (Academy Awards)  but prepare yourself for the worst Hindi films of the year that have neither pleased nor pleased audiences. Let’s start the rollercoaster ride of disappointing movie endings!

Here are some of the worst disappointments:

Real life can be boring sometimes, Movies usually take us to different worlds, and away from real life, but these ones make us want to return to our own reality

Mission Majnu: An Unsuccessful Undercover Operation

Mission Majnu

Get comfortable because Mission Majnu isn’t going to provide any exciting covert action! This movie doesn’t measure up to better television programs like Special Ops and The Family Man since it has weak action and lacks passion. It’s still unclear how the actor from Shershaah, who so astonished us, got to be thus mediocre.

Additional thoughts: Mission Majnu had all the ingredients for a thrilling espionage drama, but it fell flat due to uninspiring action sequences and a lack of intensity in its storytelling. It’s a letdown for those who expected a gripping undercover operation tale.

Shehzada: A Story with Unbelievable Turns

The movie, at the outset, is a remake of Allu Arjun’s “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” which was originally written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. In Shehzada Paresh Raval’s performance shines, but the overall film fails to bring anything fresh or captivating to hold the audience’s attention. Perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the constant trend of remakes, especially considering that this particular movie has been in circulation for four years; it might be high time for a shift in direction.

Oscar Wilde one said. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” but this was the complete opposite of it It’s worth noting that the original ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ was a commercial success, grossing ₹262–280 crore worldwide. It not only became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time but also stood as the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2020.

Main Makkaar Tu Jhoothi: Strengthening Misogyny

Main Makkaar Tu Jhoothi

Excerpt: Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar continues to reinforce sexist notions. Get ready to cringe. Your anger will boil at Luv Ranjan’s ugly portrayal of women and a retrograde plot that one ever falls in love with. Seeing gifted performers like Ranbir Kapoor take part in stories with such troubling themes is depressing.

Additional thoughts: Main Makkaar Tu Jhoothi not only disappoints with its regressive portrayal of women but also squanders the talent of its cast. The film falls into the trap of perpetuating harmful stereotypes, which is disheartening for viewers.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan: Unplanned and Deranged

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a catastrophe just waiting to happen, so hide! Despite its bizarre narrative and embarrassing dancing routines, this movie doesn’t connect with viewers. It seems as though Salman Khan is trapped in a time warp, and the filmmakers have failed to see that the public has gone past obsolete genre clichés.

Additional thoughts: Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’s outdated storytelling and cringe-worthy dance sequences make it a forgettable cinematic experience. Salman Khan’s charisma can’t salvage a poorly planned-film.

The only thing people remember from this film was a weird dance that became a meme. This one right here

Salam Khan horrible dance

Bloody Daddy: Complicated and Perplexing

Bloody Daddy

Prepare to sort through a complicated mess! Bloody Daddy makes an effort to create a suspenseful movie, but because of its shoddy editing and poor screenplay, it confuses viewers. Go for something more logical to avoid the headache. If nothing else, seeing it for free on JioCinema won’t break the bank.

Additional thoughts: Bloody Daddy’s attempt to build suspense falls apart due to subpar editing and an unclear screenplay. It’s a film that leaves you more perplexed than entertained.

Adipurush: A Catastrophe in special Effects

Adipurush

Vishula effects have come far, Ridley Scott’s Alien. George Lucas’s Star Wars, Christopher Nolan’s Inception. Get ready for an Adipurush visual effects nightmare! This movie misled viewers by promising amazing visual effects, but what they got was a letdown. Even a well-known plot is overshadowed by dreadful visual effects, unimpressive acting, and offensive speech. This Om Raut-directed film was ultimately a huge disappointment.

Adipurush’s promise of stunning visual effects turned into a nightmare, leaving viewers baffled by the lacklustre CGI and uninspired performances. Even a compelling storyline couldn’t salvage the film.

Saif Ali Khan’s 10-headed look in Adipurush. Well, it’s just, not like horror movies, were they trying to be scary, Maybe!

I think this Reddit user can describe our fleeing in one or another. “Underpaid graphics guy.” Another said, “Graphics guy serving notice period. It ma

2023 has emerged as the year of Bollywood film disappointments and box office failures. From Adipurush to Mission Majnu, these films fell short of expectations and left audiences yearning for greater material. As the year goes on, let’s cross our fingers for more compelling films and try to stay away from these cinematic mistakes. Watch this space for more frank evaluations and suggestions on films.

If you know any other movies that were as bad. Leave the name in the comment section.
